I don't know why anyone is suprised......it's the 4th school shooting in a week!

Oh damn, never again...

It's other school shooting, hate to see happen like that.

semi gun should be ban.

and sara, stop post too many links or I'll shot my head.

I'll look forward to see your name on the newspaper's weird section, PowerON.

Really, I do think the universities need to have more securities or metal detectors, just in my opinion.

SARA1981, tell us what are your opinions on this incident other than the links?

Right, we need metal detectors everywhere.

It will not improve the problems within the American society. What people don't understand is that by adding security, it will not change the fact that there are people out there who need professional help. They will find a way to inflict pain onto the people. With all the mall, school and workplace shootings in the last few years, I think it's safe to say that it's a social condition that need to be ironed out.

If people would figure out how to help these people, they wouldn't need the metal detectors in malls, schools and workplaces.

Thank you!

Indeed this is another sad tragedy--

Increasing the amount of metal detectors may help some, but that won't 'solve' the problem. Perhaps opening up more help via counselors, therapy, psychological/medical attention, etc., and lowering the fees associated with these type of places where one can turn to. Skyrocketing fees/costs can surely deter or even turn away those who wanted help, but couldn't afford it and therefore, take it out in a way that greatly impacts many tragically. That's just one thing, am sure there are many other attributes that can or needs improvement and awareness which could help bring down these kind of tragedies.

(btw, pls. leave Sara1981 alone, this is her thread-- :ty:)

America is fucked up.

It's the world, not just the American continents.

This is crazy! I think the gun laws need to be changed...

I think Australian gun laws need to be changed, too. Sheeple always feel safe with more and more laws.

Northwestern campus has a strict no-gun policy. Look how well it worked!

Even though these campus-shooters eventually commit suicide, they are cowards. That's why they pick places where guns are banned--so no one will be able to shoot back. When campus administrations wake up to this phenomenon, maybe campuses will not be such a favored target.

One more thing, when all guns are banned, the sick people who want to take others out along with themselves will use explosives, as more and more are already doing. Most kitchens have enough chemicals to make a huge bomb.

People have tried to blow me up, and I've been shot at a lot. Personally, I'd rather deal with the latter. Sheeple will wish for the good ol' days when all they had to cry about was bullets.

A lot? Were you a cop or something?

We currently have problems with people carrying/using knives. But, since 9/11, it has opened my eyes; I now see how sick the world is.

I wouldn't know how effective it is/was. But, I imagine if a no-gun policy is to work, it would have to be introduced to all states, which would never happen.

You raise good points. One would hope that they'd either injure or blow themselves up during the bomb-making process. I am sure people would agree with you that in such circumstances, they'd rather be shot at than blown up.

Sorry to hear that people have attempted to take your life. :( I hope they are locked up.

yeaaah, I thought so, but their Parent are fault, because the both of them need give a warm/ love to the kids and have to good teacher about Guns.
the same thing about the Gymnasium School in Erfurt/ Germany (April 26th 2002). this younger man has never getting a love from their parent, so he felt nothing to unterstand about peace or love.. that is why, he got angry and hate to all people.
that is Problem!!!

Excellent points. (And I love the Sheeple!:giggle:)

I wonder if we'll ever find why he did it. Maybe they'll find pictures and videos of him going :squint: like Cho unless he was too  to leave explanations.
