School Shooting in Roswell, NM, Critically Injures at Least Two Teens

I hope the shooting victims will recover. :(

One witness saw the victim getting shot in the face. Two victims are rushed to the hospital.

On the news here in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the news reporters was not sure of the identity of the shooter whether the shooter was a male, female or adult. Now I am reading that article that FF put on. That is terrible of the two victims being critical probably close to death. I am sad to learn about that in New Mexico. I think it started at 8 am in the morning when that happen. The parents had to wait in the Roswell Mall for about two hours to get the children arriving in the school bus. Awful. Awful. I hope there will be some recovering from the two victims.

I will find out more later in the news. :(

I was looking at the last Chapter where the Arapahoe High School had a shooter who was 18 years old and that he was kicked out of the debate team. So I was wrong on the another location that was in Colorado. This is Roswell, New Mexico shooting. I don't know why they mix this two schools all mix up which we are talking about the Roswell shooting. Meh. :(

I could not understand what the police officers, the Mayor and the Superindent of the Middle School said, there is close captioned, but not clear enough. But the news reporter said that the 12 years old boy was the shooter (critical injuries) and is now in surgery. The girl was hurt seriously (critical condition).

EDIT: I learned that the shooting started at 7:30 am, not 8:00 am.

I agree, YOU don't see room for it, but I do. At what point is this really news? people have been murdering people since the dawn of time, yet people are shocked every day when a new shooting happens in America. Maybe it's just me and my appreciation of dark humour, but I see nothing wrong with what I said before.

No I would not call it dark humor , I call it being totally insensitive to family that lost their love one. The man had family and a small child . It will be a very sad day if everyone felt the same as you. We might as well say goodbye to mankind. I will never stop being shocked by a senseless killing of an innocent person or by a mass shooting of children in school . I just hope the wife of the victim does not find this thread. My heart does out her and family of the victim.

Are you referring to yesterday shooting in the movies, no one has died yet from today's school shooting. And the kid is in lock-up

I don't know much about what is going on in Roswell. The authorities especially the police don't want to talk much about it. The 12 years old boy is in custody. The 13 years old girl is still in serious condition. The 11 years old boy was in surgery and now is out of surgery already.

One officer at the mike said one person is dead. There must be confusion going on in Roswell. :(

Hmm, you are closer so maybe local news knows more. My news says no one died

That's not even remotely funny. I know several people who are from Eastern New Mexico and some have family members that live in Roswell. All the alien stuff is for tourist attractions and helps the local community. The area normally has to fly their critical patients to a nearby city here in Texas. A city where I spent two of my undergraduate years studying.

Think before you people post something stupid about Roswell and the aliens. That isn't even remotely funny nor should be laughed about in this situation.
