Buying Windows 7

Curious about what ya'all did -

1. did you buy retail or OEM version?
2. how much did you buy it for?
3. where did you buy it from?

there's OEM version in newegg for $175 - Newegg.com - Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders - Operating Systems

I purchased my retail Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (both digital download and disc backup) for $42.99 from Microsoft Corporation. It is a offer for college students. It will expired soon later in January 20, 2010.

I am happy with Windows 7 more than Windows Vista or XP.

I paid $29.99 for Windows 7 Professional 32-bit at win741.com.

Also, as Deathpit said for the backup disc as well it's $42.99.

$29.99. I haven't installed it yet. I think it's Ultimate Pro. And I can get another copy for about $25 (disk).

For you Jiro I'll make you a deal ... $174.99.

I got W7 Ultimate full version for $65 from TrustPay JSC and they gave a downloadable link from Microsoft one day later.

It was worthy!

I noticed this link via australia. This cost is price plus VAT but TrustPay is not needing to add it when I had purchased.

And to think they would actually believe that? There are strict policies, you know?
