With our all-new Z5 Hearing app, hearing signers can now have a direct conversation with deaf/hard of hearing friends and relatives. We’re proud to provide this technology for our valued Customers!

But hearing signers can't call other VRS because Z5H cannot access the national VP database which is necessary to make VP calls to other types of VPs. The FCC has a strict requirement that only deaf and hard of hearing individuals can have full access to the national VP database.

I never heard about it. SorensonVRS should allow hearing signers use new hearing app for VP. Why not?

Who even cares when it is so easy to use Skype with them?

Skype or FaceTime.

I can kind of see the need for it if some deaf do not use, can't use (don't have iPhone for example) or want to use Skype or FaceTime but does use VRS programs...

I do use Skype with my interpreter friend (reminds me I need to pull up Skype again- I keep forgetting to lol).

why not? ZVRS not make any business since these call not billable by FCC
me not think it happen with neutral platform
