my bf and I have been dating for almost 5 years and we have been LD for just about 3.5 years.

We talk every day, send text messages visit eachother about once a month (we are only 2 hours apart so it isnt that bad)
 
Ive never dated LD but know a few people who did. Some are successful and others did not. All depends on honesty, communication, commitment. Its a big risk becuz you dont know what they are doing over there--dating, having sex with others or not honest about their lives. Wish you luck with this girl :thumb:
 
Yes i have been in a LD relationship.. It was very difficult, I agree. Too bad it didn't work out for me! sigh!

it didnt work out for me n starrygaze... so i know it didnt.. sigh..
 
Well since this came back up we broke up quite awhile ago she found out that i wanted more than a physical relationship and she didn't want an emotional relationship so we found a bf and so yeap
