My only son is living in Everett, Washington with his family. He and his family will be moving back here in New Mexico probably close to Albuquerque, New Mexico in a few months, I think. Will let me know if he will come or not.

Yes, I agree that Australian dogs (Blue Heelers) are great dogs. If you can not find the one like the type of dog you want, then that would be your decision to finding the right dog or go without a dog. It is all up to you. You are free to decide what you want an animal or no animal.
