This reminds me of a survey and report I did when I was in high school. Unfortunately, my teacher wasn't impressed (or was actually offended) with the outcome.
I had to do a survey asking people if the drinking age should be lowered to 18 and include comments.
I ended up with a lot of YES with some very good comments. Most of those comments were things like "If a student is old enough to be "independent" from his parents, old enough to go to college, old enough to join the military, etc... then he/she should be old enough to drink." This resulted in more "YES" than "NO".
When I presented my report and findings to my teacher, she actually crossed out those comments saying they were considered "inappropriate" and had me re-do my report which now showed more "NO" than "YES". :roll:
