That is an interesting issue.

Usually, most hearing gay people are very clean especially a nice home with many fancy and expensive furniture. It's too bad that deaf gay don't realize that. I visited some gay people's home, and their house is extremely clean because I was an insurance house inspector at Cape Cod.

I would say that it is embarrassed for them because they are on welfare. Unfortunately, their English in writing and reading are so poor. I asked my new non-gay deaf friends to email me, and they never did it which is so obvious that they are too shy about their grammar problem. What can I say about them?

I believe that they missed a lot of things going on. Again, they won't admit to say about their welfare issue. I don't care about their welfare. It is not of my business.

I assume that you know that it is not safe to be open in the public especially some anti-gay killers wearing their friendly mask. I believe that gay people are smarter than straight people. Are you surprised about that? :-o
 
Oh Lord.. Don't get me started.

He should get a haircut and lose the blazer. It's SO late 80's!

And I wouldn't date him because he is too overbearing towards everyone else.
 
Well... Most of deaf gay guys that I met are very sweet people, but I am more like to mention to that what he just said "Why deaf gay guys are not being themselve?" I know that is not exactly what he said, but it's similar. I do know why, it's because those guys are not 100 percent sure if they are gay yet. It's just like a man who are trying to figure why he don't fix with his own gender and it take years for him to figure it out then he will finally became a transsexual woman. Being homosexuality is just the same and it's normal.

I was used to thought I was bisexual, but recently I was starting to discovering that I am more gay than bi because of the lack of girl's attraction to me. It take times for those people to pick up who they are.

While I disagree with him that most of deaf gay guys are dirty, but it appeared in my mind, it's because most of the deaf gay guys was discriminated, poor with low income, living with roommates, etc. that could cause they feel depressed. It's just my thought..

I just think he hasn't met the right people. I dont' where he lives if he lives in a big city or a small one and if there's alot of people there. For me personally I live in new york and there's all diff kinds of people and that's just how I see it. I don't really ever say anyone's ugly or anything. Everyone in life wants to find someone and it's not easy. I think he just needs to meet more people I think and isn't that a little stereotypical saying that ONLY deaf gay men are not attractive. It's a very BOLD statement I feel. Everyone's entitled to their opinion I guess....

I have seen some deaf gay guys at NTID who have their hair horribly twirled upwards, wearing super-tight shirts that sometimes reveal their navels, hug every guy they think is gay, socialize only with other deaf gays (sometimes hearing gays), wear small pants (probably belonged to their little sister), etc.

When I asked them why they do that, they say that it was to emphasize that they are gay.

To me, I don't care how you dress. If you're gay, great. If not, fine. I don't care either way. I don't need a deaf gay guy to dress and act all like that just to show me that he's gay.

How do people know I'm straight? They might figure from hints that I've given based on admiring women that walk by, talk about women, or admit to having a girlfriend.

With gay people, the same thing applies. If a gay guy hints things by admiring another guy that walks by or talks about a date he had last week with another guy, I would probably figure he was gay. I'm not going to judge him immediately because the fact he is gay doesn't matter to me. What matters is how that person acts and dresses.

I do know a few gay guys who dress unusual, but it's because of their personality... not because they want to advertise themselves as gays. Those are the kind of people I can respect.

I am fifty percent agree with him and fifty percent disagree with him.

There is something made me very skeptical about him. When he discussed about deaf gays don't take good care of themselves, look at him... He needs to work on his apperances too. His clothes are fine. All he needs to work on his hair and his face. If he wants to people to take him seriously, he has to work on his apperances first so he can presuade deaf gays. If he is feeling really strong about this issue, he should set up the workshop to help deaf gays to improve their apperances instead saying we should have it and can't do it alone. Sometime someone has to do it alone and make it to happens. People will come along and offer to help him out with this workshop.

That reminds me of Bill Cosby when he spoke out against his minority (African Americans for same reasons but different story) few years ago.

I hate to break it to you... Becoming gay because of the lack of attraction come from girls... That is wrong reason why you are gay. No offensive to you, when we met at Seattle Pride last June 23, 2007, I already figured that you're gay not bisexual. Why? That is who you are. I can tell. That is nothing wrong with that. :)

I have to admit that is the first time I agree with you. :)

What they told you... I have to say that they have wrong reasons. Most gays (both deaf and hearing) I know who wears like that just because they feel more comfortable to wear girly clothes or tight clothes to make them look thin or in good shape. I sometime do that too. Most of gays don't wear these type of clothes just to tell the world that they are gay. That is their styles. It is same story for straight women who dress up very slutty and sexy. Why? Just because they wants to catch men's attentions.

I agree about hinting part. I do that pretty often with people. Sometime hinting could be very confusing. Depends on individual.

Total agree with you... His appearence doesn't look much good and himself seems ridilicied(sp?) to talk about that. Maybe he is just a whiny man who can't find Mr. Right? Hehe :giggle:
 
I am wondering about that - his hair and it seems that he is depressed. Maybe, a snob - I don't know. I realized that he has no business to talk about it. My comment is okay, and it is my opinion.
 
Well I saw on NBC To Catch a Predator...

Men complained about they didn't get enough sex from their wives or
they can't find a girlfriend to have sex with, so they tried
to have sex with a 13 years old girl.

Man said he just wants to hold her and be sexually satisfied.

I wonder if that is the reason my Uncle tried to touch me inappropriate 2 months ago. I stayed away from him. His wife must not give him any.

No problem! :) Sometime people find something to complain about people even they don't realize that they got issues too. I believe that he is one of these people who are like that. Oh well...

I am not surpised about this issue. I had many married men came to me on gay.com and asked me if I can have sex with them. I got blunt with them that cheating on their wives are wrong. If they're not happy with their wives, they should try work it out or get a divorce. I don't understand why people are that desperate to cheat on their loved ones even they won't give them the needs. That pisses me off when anyone asked me that. I felt like I'm nothing to them but just sex toy.

Your uncle touched you? You should tell your aunt right away. I don't care if it will cause huge drama, your aunt has the right to know what is going on.

Oh, I didn't know anything about that. I respect gays/lesabins but my friend from RIT said if gay guys touch me ON PURPOSE, i would just tell them that I am straight.

I agree that love is very important than just sex. You have to understand that not everyone views that way. Most high maintenance people cares about the attractions than emotion connection just like you describled. Each individual has its own preferances of its life partners. As for me, I have my own preferences for my life partner and I haven't find him yet. I have an excellent example of my recent experience. I met this deaf gay online a while ago. At beginning, I thought he is very hot then I got know him better. After that, I looked him as very ugly person now. Why? That is because he got lousy personality. One of my friends who is seeing someone now... That person is very unattractive but he is really beautiful person... That is because of he got wonderful personality that making my friend very happy. I know many people who are beautiful/hot marries another beautiful/hot people and are very happy together too. Each individual has different result.
