Borderline profoundly deaf since birth, nerve deafness - but with Phonak aids can 'operate' pretty well - people often don't get that I'm deaf unless the usual stuff interfers....
Lives in Somerset, England, happily married - first for me, second for him, no offspring but inherited a raft of lovely adult 'steps' and their children - two dogs are my surrogate children.
As I don't know many other deaf people because I've always existed and lived in the hearing world I've joined this forum primarily for advice and information.
