Who have you met or would like to on AD?

Hmm would love to meet some gophers around here.. hehe.. but that will have to wait till I deal with the present situation I am in ... oy.. that a rotten drag having to deal with a painful and sad situation.. BTW some folks know what I am talking about..the others, I will tell ya all when I am fully ready to discuss what the hell I am going thur this year.... oy vey (that ought to make good music to Jo's eyes eh!)

Would love to meet any of you

I live in Southwest Ohio. I don't know one single deaf person. Even at the Clinic that I go to, there is nobody there that is deaf that I know of. It would be nice to meet at least one of you. Aliboo

Eyeth is the only person in AD that I have met.

After seeing him in his blogsite video I went :jaw: because I knew him from our school days in the 1980's. Unbelievable that he and I did not know who each of us were while being members in here for a year! Eyeth, it was good to hear from you again :)

Thank you for the warm message! I must have missed this one the first time around. I still amaze myself about how truly small and connected our Deaf universe actually is. Your posts on AD continually bring a smile on my face.

While we're speaking on this subject, I just had the pleasure of meeting another fellow AD'er, Aquaman, at a local Deaf gathering in South Florida. Knowing that he's from SoCal, and like his namesake, I suspected he would be like a 'fish out of water', but you wouldn't know it from observing him socializing with new faces at the gathering, making friends easily. Quite an impressive fellow, and it's always nice to meet AD'ers in person and converse with them in ASL. I trust you have enjoyed your visit to South Florida, Aquaman, and you'll visit again! :)

Well, I have met Sunshinelady in Person, and that is the only one I have met so far. I knew my wife before I joined, so that don't count.

Hey! I havent meet AD friends, but I would love to meet from here someday! :D

I'm still new on AD. :giggle:

I would love to meet anyone here, and I will see if I can go to AD Caucus in 2008 since AADB is cancelled.

I recently attended the Orlando DeafNation Expo and had a great time. I also met a fellow AD'er by the name of Southern. Quite surprisingly, he does look like his avatar, a rarity nowadays! IslandGal also was at the Expo, and was truly a pleasure to meet again.
