For me, I like Dodge engine because it lasts longer (if handled in the right way), but I like Ford vehicle shapes. GMC and Chevrolet are nice too, but I have had some problem with them in the past. :| I have no idea about Toyota vehicles, but heard that they are very expensive, since we need to import the parts from other country. I don't know about VW, Nissan, Oldmobile, and many other brands.

Which brand do you like the best? Why or why not?

I usually like Ford, I have no problem with Ford brand cars since my dad's 2nd hand CHev Lumuima (sp) always have motor fuck up. he fed up with chev he trade to a new Ford Taurus 2002. it is pperfect, also my dad's supercab F150 1994 still running smooth so far. that's why I like Ford for a long time.

I dont judge the cars by its brand.

I just look at each invidual models.

Very wise perspective of you. :thumb: I wish I can trade this engine and that shape to fit my desire. Heh, you know what I mean?

Any of them as long as you keep them in shape. I know that there's times when there are recalls and some of those companies do not admit it when there are defective parts that need to be replaced.

I'm a Ford man myself but Im open to driving other brands of car as long as its unique or fun.

The most 258 car I ever had was a 84 Audi Coupe GT .....It had the body off the famous Turbo Quattro AWD rally car but with a 100 hp stock 5 CYLINDER motor. Handling was great and what more was it was my 1st stick shift car :D

And less expensive because of import taxes. :p

Toyota best car of year :thumb:

Next new car I would buy 4x4 runner or Suqeve(sp) of Toyota but my husband likes Hummer

sablecort, i love audi cars. german engines are awesome even they are tiny but powerful.

two wks ago my brother just sold his '96 audi avant quattro that was only one of 200 cars made in the world. it was awesome. he was very sad to let his car go before he plans to move to other state. i liked his. i almost wet my pant when he drove his car in high speed on very wet road at night. it handled very well.
this was my brother's...

I guess I'm gonna revive this thread, heh! I have 2 dream cars that I'd LOVE to own....a Mini Cooper! ;) And a Ford Futura which my parents in law currently own and it's gorgeous! There's one other car I'd like to get, but it has a sort of a tarnished reputation for nonreliable engines and hard to find parts - it's the Russian car Lada Nivia.

I've seen the pics of the Futura/Falcon over at the Aussie Fords Site and they look miles better than the same boring Taurus and even my Sable. Not to mention REAR-drive! Besides we send y'all Aussies the Escape, Explorer and Mustang yet we get none Aussie cars (except the Mercury Capri convertible from '90 to '96) in return! :(

Ford should have imported these Aussie gems, esp these damn fine-looking Falcon Ute's, over here cuz Dodge is coming out with the Dodge Magnum SRT-8 (with V8 and rear-drive) for 2K5 and Holden is shipping the Monaro's over to US disguised as Pontiac GTO's. And Caddy got those tasty CTS and its BMW M3 killer CTS-V with the Corvette motor.

Looks like REAR-DRIVE is coming back big-time during 2K4 and 2K5!
