What's the Deaf population like in Baltimore?

Hey all,
I'm new to this forum. I live in Portland, OR. but I may be moving to Baltimore for graduate school soon. What's the Deaf community like in Baltimore? Is it anything like DC?
 
Being a mere 15 miles away, I imagine it would be.
 
The Deaf community is nothing like the one in DC. It's not really that good. If you really want to attend Deaf events, you will find yourself driving to D.C., Frederick and other parts in the N.E. for your 'Deaf Fix'.

What university are you considering in Baltimore and what graduate program are you thinking of enrolling?
