The other day I was chatting on the bus and my friend corrected a sign I've been using for "change" for years. I knew the sign she corrected me with existed but now I'm not sure what sign I used. It is 2 "a" shapes With thumbs pointing down, one close to the body the other away, and they rotate horizontally and switch places via semicircle.

Maybe it's just a different way to sign it? I'm sure I've seen it used before.
 
It might be an initialized ADAPT or ADJUST.
