I never thought that most of Americans own the German cars...
What´s the wrong with American cars?

I´m curiously why you all prefer German cars to Americans cars?

I think it would be cheaper if you buy the American cars in your country than buy any cars from overseas? :sure:

Auto

I owe a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer LT. Just recently brought last week. And my husband has 2002 Chevy Tracker ZR2 SUV. We are the Chevy family!! ;)

I felt as if I'm "a prostitute" experimenting with
almost all various kinds of cars ahaha :)

Heh...that makes me a "auto-gigolo" too with a total of 13 cars in my 15 year driving career. 7 Ford/Mercury vehicles, mostly Ford Escorts, including my 2 present cars-a 1984 Audi Coupe GT that I bought in California, the Toyota that I wrecked delivering pizza, and a smattering of POS Mopar products and only one GM car (a 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix) so far..... (the wife's old POS '89 Olds doesnt count in my totals...lol)

Oh really, i just checked this
whole thread i do NOT see
many Americans own more
German cars than American cars ?
That's not correct.

Many Americans tend to buy our
American cars such as Ford, Chevy
and Dodges... and many have
Japanese cars such as Honda.

Not many people here own German cars
such as Benz..and BMW...

I try to understand what made
you think that more Americans
buy more German cars ?

P.S. Of course I love my own BMW because
of its high quality on curvy roads
very smooooothly.....

Oh, i think NOTHING wrong with American
cars I've already had few of them,
but I think about buying American cars
in the future such as Mercury Sable
and/or Ford Crown Victoria...

Tee Hee... wonder which car was the

Out of these cars, My 3 faves would have to be the 1984 Audi-5 cylinders and my 1st time to buy a car with 5 speeds, 1994 Ranger truck (Fun with 4 cylinder, 5 speed, rear-wheel drive with NO Air Conditioning...I love a car without one) and the ZX2 Escort.

Right now I cant decide what I would love to have in the future...The 2005 Dodge Magnum SXT-6 wagon or a Subaru Baja....both would suit me fine but the Baja would be tops since it's more half car half truck with AWD thrown in (and 5-speeds too :) )

I check again. It´s almost correct what I stated an earlier.
I´m not against American cars as what you think. I ONLY wondering why most Americans bought the cars from overseas.
I can see the list they bought German cars is kinds of Ford, volkswagen, Benz & BMW.
I can see the list they bought cars from overseas is Nissan, Saturn, Toyota, Honda, Fiat which it´s not made by American. I only interesting to know why they prefer to buy any cars from overseas than American cars, that´s all.

oh thanks i 'm learning something new here
about German Fords and American Fords...

i recalled that I rented a new Ford Focus
all the way down to Florida on 95 for
about 14 hours.. I must admit that
I was very surprised and very impressed with
that car. I even raced with a Corvette
using that Ford Focus I was teasing him that
his Corvette was way too slow as compared to
Ford Focus haha (tee hee)

Hi Cooldeaf
Yes, that´s right but they are expensive to buy.. Only rich people who can afford to buy them.
Chrysler are the most beautiful car. I would of buy if I win at Lottery...

Most Germans prefer to own German cars to support their country.
