My husband and I watched oldest movie. The title name is "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang". We amazed how much the productor did a marvelous job. The make up and costmers are so beautiful.

My favorite part performance as a doll.

I liked Richard Wright's book better than the movie (which really wasn't great at all), but I enjoyed it nonetheless:

Native Son, ca early 1950s.

I have seen a lot of 1950s and 1960s movies! :) I like them all...I don't really have a favorite. :)

1. The Great Race (Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon)
2. Some Like it Hot (Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon, and Marilyn Monroe)
3. The Apartment (Jack Lemmon and Shirley McLaine)
4. That Darn Cat (Disney movie with Dean Jones and Hayley Mills)
5. Pollyanna (Hayley Mills and Agnes Morehead)
6. Monkey's Uncle (Annette Funicello and Tommy Kirk)
7. Herbie the Love Bug (Dean Jones)
8. The Shaggy Dog (Annette Funicello and Fred McMurray)
9. Rebel Without a Cause (James Dean and Natalie Wood)
10. The Ugly Dachund (Dean Jones)
11. The Cat from Outer Space (Ken Berry)
12. The Strongest Man in the World (Kurt Russell)
13. The Terror (Jack Nicholson and his then-wife, Sandra Knight)
14. Little Shop of Horrors (1960's version - Jack Nicholson as the crazy dental patient)

In addition, 15....The Parent Trap (Haley Mills, Brian Keith, Maureen OHara)

There are so many more out there that I do like. :)

I enjoyed Pollyanna and The Parent Trap with Haley Mills in it.

Sabrina (1954) and An Affair to Remember (1957) is my favourite.

"Giant", and "Rebel Without a Cause" .....After all I love watching James Dean even though I was only born 16 years after Dean got killed in a car wreck after filming "Giant" in 1955.

and Sean Connery's James Bond films from the 1960's totally rocked my socks off with "Thunderball", "From Russia With Love", "Goldfinger" and "You Only Live Twice"

For the ultimate action movies other than the 007 films, Steve McQueen is the best actor for the '60's with "The Great Escape" and "Bullitt" (who can never forget the chase between McQueen's Mustang and the baddies' Dodge Charger thru the streets of San Francisco?)

At the begin of this film shown Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was filmed in my home village in Kent, England - It was on TV a few weeks before christmas and I was homesick watching this!

I think Gone with the Wind, Thunderbird (original), Chocolate Wonka (original) great to watch.
