What did you learn today? Part II

I just learned that I was in a persons dream. I was correcting her ASL. She didnt know these signs before dreaming and the way I told her to do it in the dream was correct after her looking it up in real life.

Creepy.

are you dream walking now?

I just learned something wild.

Back in the Mayan time - they had tribes that had different spoken language but the common language between them was signed language. I am now looking into this more.

I learned today that I have more deadlines on top of many others that I need to meet in unreasonable times. I am bringing home work to do work at my 2nd job tmw. Geez!

Your boss must think you don't have enough to do over the weekend.

Oi, from that point of view... My boss must think I am overwhelmed with work. Lately I have been giving myself things to do.

A few years ago, I learned an important lesson. We had brought in a group of contractors but didn't give them enough work to do. Well, security ended up taking one of their computers and several were escorted out of the building. They weren't bad people, just bored. Bored people playing around on company computers tend to get themselves into trouble. :Ohno:

Moral of the story? Keep yourself busy (or at least look busy).

Or wrinkle your eyebrows and slightly frown with your hand on your chin while staring intently at the screen usually works. It looks like you are super-concentrating on your work. LOL.

and once in a while, flap the paper in front of you like you are turning it over or moving it. That way they will hear the paper moving and think you are working..

Oh, and hit random keys on your keyboard so they will think your actually typing. You could also open and close your desk drawers a couple of times to make it appear you are actually looking for something you need to complete your work.

Also when you leave your desk, leave papers scattered all over the place so it looks like you just took a quick break from your work to go to the bathroom or to get another quick cup of coffee to sip on while you work. Keep these excursions away from your desk short, brief, and infrequent!

. But on second hand, wouldn't it just be easier to ACTUALLY work rather than doing so much work just to appear like you are working? :giggle:
