I clicked one of porno links in Penisarium out of curiousity... all of sudden i was attacked by spywares and 12 viruses from this link.. it took me four fucking days to clean out viruses and spywares and got this computer working..
 
I wasn't affected... *kisses my mac*

Windows users,
It is your responsibility to protect your computer with anti-virus and anti-spyware software and they are supposed to be updated to the latest.

You have to develop habit to run windows update more often.

Turn on popup blockers

installed anti-phising software (toolbar by netcraft is highly recommended (see my signature below.)

Use other browsers than Microsoft IE!
 
ouch.. sorry to hear that it took u quite some time to clean that out.. i didnt clicked on any cuz not interested in that anyway..

I'm sorry about what happen, where's link? It supposed to delete it.

I have McAfee Security Center and protect my computer right now but installed it about in morning ago after someone hacked my computer with tons of worms, trojan horse, and viruses, and conflict with computer program. That's pissed me off after happened and my computer is fine right now. I'm going get iMac soon, or next year and never purchase new windows anymore.

It does happen to me about few time.

Recovery the computer is help alot to removes all of viruses, worms and trojan horse but it would start with new program again, and it take around few hours to done. I did that about few time and its work so great.
 
Thank you for telling me this, I'll make sure I don't click on no links, btw I'm sorry to hear about your computer, that's sucks to have virus...

I dont think my link to porn has do something with you. :afro:

Yup , my laptop is protected by anti-virsus and anti-spyware. And I use Cleaner everyday to eliminate any unnecessary hidden files from files. Learn how to take care of your computer, people.
 
If get iMac then viruses will become corrupt when send link, e-mail and IM.
 
It happened to me sometime and I have to reboot my laptop to back normal...
 
Bummer, good thing I got Comcast Cable Interent not just high speed but a very good "Virus Scan", Personal Firewall Plus", "Privacy Service", "Spamkiller", programs. Very good protection for my computer. & It was all free with my service. $39.99 value a piece..

Didnt I warn you? Sure happened to me few weeks ago!, not sure if you got hit by the worst virus I ever seen! Did it ask you to download upgrade?

for 2 years now we have been using Spybot Search & Destroy.
It is great. It is free. There is no advertising. You donate the authour if you feel guilty about using it. http://www.safer-networking.org
You can set it up to warn you about potential bad pages.

Also....
In internet explorer set it so cookies are never automatically accepted. Set it to "prompt" for cookies. Then when you are at a site you know is safe you can tell it to always accept them from that site.
Set internet explorer so it will never automatically download anything. Especially 'activeX controls' Some sites need activex controls. So when you are at a site you trust, then you can click it to allow to download the activeX.

There are a bunch more good tips.
