NOW we are officially screwed. There is no telling what they'll do to get the silver and/or water. Human greed makes people do horrible things. :/

I agree that there has been too much destruction of our own planet that has been profit/greed driven.

However, if mining operations were to stop on our planet, and continued off world, wouldn't that be better for us?

It'd be a blessing actually but, they have to be careful WHERE exactly they go mining and destroying. The Moon is crucial for the Earth and life on Earth. No one on this planet can afford to have them making mistakes up there.

Plus they can go do whatever they please in the universe as long as it doesn't directly affect us or who/whatever lives wherever they'r going. As stupid as this may sound, it just reminds me of the movie "Avatar".
