Hello everyone! :)

For a school project, I have to teach children to sign "He's Got The Whole World In His Hands," however, I am not sure on how to go about translating this song.

The lyrics are simple:
RANDY TRAVIS - HE'S GOT THE WHOLE WORLD IN HIS HANDS LYRICS

If someone has any advice and could help me out that would be great! :)

Don't take this the wrong way, but why do you "have to" teach this, when you don't know ASL?

Why not invite a fluent signer who's Hoh/Deaf/CODA to come teach it to the class instead?

I agree with as above. I would not dare to give a lecture in front of hearing people.

for the part, "he's got the whole worlds in his hands"...I would sign "he got "ball" start from top to bottom like world and hold hand"....abit hard to describe it here...hope that helps abit?

What have you figure out so far by yourself?

If you don't fully know ASL, it may be better to avoid this. See, who knows, someone in the audience may have a deaf family member or friend and already knows ASL. So you'll be pointed out if you did it wrong.
