Participants needed for Focus Group in Toronto (Canada)!
Have you ever tried to watch videos on the internet and been frustrated by poor-quality captions – or maybe there were no captions at all?
CHS is developing a captioning service for digital media (web videos etc.), and we need your help!
We are looking for 6 people who are culturally Deaf, oral deaf, deafened, or hard of hearing. ASL-English interpreting will be provided. Participants will be asked to watch a few captioned videos, fill out a questionnaire evaluating the quality of the captions, and participate in discussion on captioning quality. Refreshments will be served.
We welcome your opinions! The more feedback we get, the better the captions will be.
