PALM BAY, Fla. (April 14) - A tornado that ripped through Geoffrey Crook's home didn't just tear away his roof. Authorities say it exposed his elaborate marijuana-growing operation.

Crook, 41, was charged Tuesday with possession and manufacturing of cannabis after police officers served him with an arrest warrant at his job. He was released on $1,000 bond Tuesday night.

The operation had lamps, hydroponic equipment and log books. Fifty-four marijuana plants neatly arranged in the master bedroom had a street value of about $8,000, authorities said.

The operation was uncovered in February after a twister, with winds whipping up to 112 mph, tore away Crook's roof.

Palm Bay police and other emergency crews were searching through the debris for injured victims when they came across the 2- to 3-foot plants. Crook was not at home during the storm.

Crook had a disconnected telephone number and couldn't be reached for comment Wednesday. AOL News: http://aolsvc.news.aol.com/news/article.adp?id=20050414112109990003

 Guess the tornado try to be marshall and exposed out the culprit's dirty work

It's not the first time a tornado helped the cops nab criminals that way. One such tornado tore out the house and when the police came to check on the man, they discovered he's hidden tons of child porn videos in his place, and arrested him for it.

Huzzah for tornadoes with a strong sense of justice! :D

wonder if that

tornado got too many buzz from those plants got too buzz then went zigg and zagg the wrong direction !!!! hahahh

Oh Really? That I did not know. That is very interesting. :)

Speaking of mishaps that help police. Fires help too...
A basement fire in Texas when the fire was put out they found a huge meth lab with 7 million worth of meth in a suburb.
I also know of a biker that set his BBQ grill on fire. He did it for fun. Well the fool set a tree ablaze too. His nieghbor called the fire department. While putting out the fire. A firemen noticed his grow room. When the police arrived. The fireman told the cop. The police found 50 plants in his living room/ greenhouse. He cliamed the 50 plants were for him alone. I bet he gets 20 years for growing pot in his home....

*dies laughing*
That is just what is bound to happen to people like that...
:laugh2:
I guess all I can say is...
:nana:
