I dread the dating scene and one day I guess I will be into dating.

One sure way to get into the dating scene is by your hobbies and things
that you enjoy doing. This will enhance sharing something in common.
If you like doing something that is unisex like; softball, chess, pool among
other things, then your chances of meeting the opposite sex is greater.

I can think of several place right off hand where the men are! :)
Golfing, fishing party boats, at Lowe's hardware store and other places.
I hate the singles bar unless you are into dancing then you will meet a
dancer.

Tell us where singles can find you! Tell us what you are looking for and
where. Any suggestions? Any ideas?
Is it true a woman must always look her best even if she just running to
the corner for a newspaper. What are your pet peeves?

You are not the only one who dread dating scene - especially when I get older. It is much easier meeting single men if you are in college.

Don't forget about asking your friends if they know anyone single or meet through their mutual friends. I met my date through a mutual friend and we have been dating for almost two months now  We hit it off so well as we have so much in common - he hates bars - so do I - so if it wasnt for friends in the first place, we would have never met as there wouldnt be any opportunity to meet as I dont golf or go to bars - he golfs often on his free time. :giggle:

I feel women overdress too often. Its not like I don't appreciate women who work hard to get ready for a date or night out, but going to store late? gas station? come on. You cant play softball in high heels and a dress. :giggle:

ha, yeah, I can relate...it's hard knowing what to wear! But we feel like we have to look presentable all the time...we don't think anybody could be attracted to us if we're in sweats and a tshirt, no makeup, plain hair, even if we were playing softball :)

thanks for letting us know that you think otherwise :)

I may have differing opinions from other guys, but I like girls that show they aren't afraid to dress down for comfort or like wearing a ball cap etc.

Dating scene can be a touchy subject. you have to ask yourself. where is your heart and what are you wanting. if you meet someone how far are you willing to go. what are yu willing to allow to happen. are you just wanting friends, if so than you have to guard your heart to an extent. are you wanting a life long partner than be selectful. the opposite sex does tend to like some icing on the cake so to speak so where a little bit of makeup ,a little bit of perfume, don't over do it. But be selective , and guard your heart. Keep your boundaries of how far you will allow someone else to go with you.Be reserved to an extent let the person come to you.have fun, but don't do something you know would not be good for you.
