For those who have seen the displays at Target for their streaming/download service, they DO NOT offer captioning. The page for each product completely omits any mention of captioning, but the player that launches for trailers showed an inactive button for CC. It took a really nice store employee calling on my behalf to find out that only the non-English content has any subtitling, which went without saying anyway.
Shame, I would have liked to rent The Black Cauldron that way.
