Sup n Hi Alldeaf.com Im new ,

About me Im 23 from Land of 10,000 Lakes. Born Deaf
Primary: Cued Speech/Lip Read
Secondary: Sign Language


Any Fellow Deaf Minnesotans around here? :cheers:

Welcome to AD. Enjoy your time here. What were your school years like? There aren't many ADers who used Cued Speech from what I've heard.
 
Oh, My School Years i started Cued Speech @ 2 and half, then went to Public School, i had a Cued Speech Interprenter though K-12. Graduated Class of 2k at 18..

Raised around People that Could Hear such as my Family, Reltives, Friends that Hear, Everybody that I knew. Rarely Met Actual Deaf People, i only met few of them.
Learned ASL during my School Years when i choosed it as my 2ndary.

Only My Family, Some relatives/Cousin, and some Friends know how to speak Cued Speech. Otherwise most of my friends and some people understood and talked to me by lip reading and my voice.

I have Met couple people that signed ASL , it was pretty easy to talk to them that way.

welcome to AD.. i'm also fellow minnestoan here.. which part of minnesota do you live?

i'm in western minn :D :cheers: but i go over to twin cities most of the time
