When my son was a toddler, he had febrile seizures when he had a fever, or was outside and got too hot. They were just like a grand mal seizure.
Anyway, he had a seizure at home when he was about 3, and I put him in the car laying across the front seat with his head in my lap so if he vomited, he wouldn't aspirate and choke. I was speeding, and a cop pulled me over. I told him what was wrong and asked him to escort me to the hospital about 2 miles away. He turned on his siren and gave me an escort, then came into the emergency room and gave me a ticket for not having my son in a car seat! Luckily, my son's pediatrician offered to go to court with me and tell the judge that it would have endangered my son's life to put him in a car seat during a seizure, and the ticket got thrown out. But I oculdn't beleive the nerve of that cop! This happened in TN. BTW.
I am glad for your son is fine right now, also I am very happy with judge thrown out your ticket. Good for the judge! It's now justice is served!
