Chick Fil A at the La Habra Marketplace is holding its very first Deaf event by my request. I would much appreciate if anyone, Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or Hearing/ASL student wants to come and chat or practice would please join us.
Purchasing food is not necessary but I will say that I will be behind the counter to do my best to take orders in ASL.
My boss says that if there is a great enough turn out for this first one he will do it monthly, and if it continues to do well after 6 months he will assign all of our cashiers to learn ASL to be able to take ANY Deaf individual's order!
