Hi! My name is Rachel, I'm 17 and I am in my second year of sign language class. I have to sign a song for an assignment that's due soon but I'm having a little bit of trouble putting the words in GLOSS. I would REALLY appreciate some help!

The part of the song I'm having trouble with:

And I’ll be wearing white when I come into your kingdom
I’m as green as the ring on my little cold finger
I’ve never known the lovin' of a man
But it sure felt nice when he was holding my hand
There’s a boy here in town says he’ll love me forever
Who would have thought forever could be severed by

&&

A penny for my thoughts, oh no I’ll sell them for a dollar
They're worth so much more after I’m a goner
And maybe then you’ll hear the words I been singin’
Funny when you're dead how people start listenin’

I understand what is being said, but I'm not sure how to translate it properly.
Thanks so much!

r u translating English or ASL ? who is the audience? what's the purpose of interpreting?

I listen primarily to Country Stations so I know the song, it’s a nice choice.

Mod Note:

Thread's moved from General Chat to Sign Language & Oralism.

I'm glad that you understand it because I sure don't. :)

It's one thing to ask help for a particularly difficult phrase but it seems that you want the whole song translated for you. We can't do your homework for you.

Maybe you should have picked an easier song.
