From what I understand, Sim Com is using Engilsh and ASL simultaneously; please correct/add to my definition if it is incorrect. I find that I Sim Com a lot because the people I use ASL to communicate with on a regular basis Sim Com. I was wondering if anyone here uses Sim Com and curious what some of the opinions are on it. The only problem I really have with it is that it makes it hard from me to improve my grammar because I'm inclined to sign what I'm saying rather than working through the ASL grammar structure in my head. Sim Com is probably the reason my grammar isn't that great. I plan to try to sign voice off more because then I'm sign more true to ASL rather than SEE.
