Should I put this in the school newspaper?

Do you think I should put "What is Wrong with the Use of these Terms:
"Deaf-mute", "Deaf and dumb", or "Hearing-impaired"? in my school's newspaper? I get very angry when someone says "hearing impaired" even though I am like ten feet away from them. :pissed: One time, poster up on the wall said "deaf and mute". :nono:
 
Why not? It would raise awareness of the cause.....a lot of people don't know that the term hearing impaired can be seen as offensive. If you want an editor.....please feel free to PM or otherwsie contact me!
 
I'm not even deaf, and I'm offended by the phrase "deaf and dumb." Some people are so ignorant.
 
I will put this information in the school newspaper next semster because the last day of classes on Monday. :tears:
