Any fellow Second Life users here??

I heard there is a JAWS-compatible version in Beta mode for blind users so I might give it a try. :)

Second Life is basically an online Sims. Real people go there to do real-life things- people actually make money on it, but by no means do you have to do that. I go there to roleplay, mostly.

CJB- I have a friend who is blind and plays on Second Life. She says it's difficult, but invaluable because it gives her a good social outlet. A lot of autistic people go on there to be in touch with the world because of their disability/syndrome. Physically disabled do the same.

bwright6 I have about three ASD friends that are residents of SL. I am thinking of trying out SL but I would have to get a new computer for that and beg blind services to pay for JAWS. :giggle:

I did try this last year and I dislike it because confused with too much controls. If you have PS3, have you try Playstation Home? It's almost same as Second Life.
