I haven't posted in a while. I'm living in Boston now, and having just moved here, I don't have any friends who speak ASL. I am forgetting how to sign! :tears: I have no deaf friends here none of my hearing friends can sign. This sucks. Is there anybody is the Boston area who would want to hang out and sign with me?

I am sorry to hear about that.

I would love to hang out and chat with you, but I am sorry I am not from Boston area. Hope you can find someone else too.

don't get urself lower about that. It happen to some people. You ALWAYS can learn how to sign again, and it can refresh ur mind. Go to library to get a book or videos of sign language will be great. And, try to find search of "club" of deafness see if u can join to make new friend there. What's more, Alldeaf re here to be ur friend here too :)

Find a deaf club, deaf socials, deaf ministry at church or deaf church, etc. Good luck!

True....there's a HUGE Deaf community in Mass! Liza might have more info.....

:welcome: to Boston hankpiece!!!! Sabrina gave you a lot of good places to check out to be with deaf, and to keep practicing your ASL. Deafdyke too would also be a good help in locating different deaf organizations in the Mass. area.
There is also a deaf club here in Providence. Providence Deaf club, I can get some information for you on the whereabouts of the club. You can PM me and I will get you the information.

Good luck and congratulations on your new home in Boston!!!

Thank you all for the advice. Unfortunately Worcestor and Providence are far away, but I will check out the links you all gave me.
