relationship changes

since I had my last operation and am now deaf or really severly hard of hearing ...what ever you wanna call me...my husband doesnt really try to communicate with me anymore than really nessesary...i try to have conversations with him because i can read his lips pretty good....but, he just spends alot of time in chat rooms now...is this normal...did i do something wrong...any input would be fantastic...feeling kinda isolated...we had to move away from my parents and now i am in a city where i know no one but him.....i cant afford to drive an hour each way to see my mom every day...at least i can talk with her online during the day...i am drawing again...and walking the dogs...

Sorry if it sounds bad, but it seems that your husband is in denial... not ready to accept the fact that you're deaf.

Have you tried having a serious one-on-one conversation with him?
