Opening January 20

Join us for an engaging story of a special relationship between a Deaf mother and her Deaf daughter. Veteran performer Michelle Banks pulls us into their journey as they prevail through hardships and triumphs. It's a clever dance of drama and humor from the perspective of Black Deaf culture. Don't miss the opportunity for both the hearing and deaf communities to bridge their cultural divide through artistic expression. REFLECTIONS cleverly navigates through both worlds via spoken English and American Sign Language to create a theatrical environment for us ALL to enjoy.

Ok I finally saw this, this weekend and it was great!!

I actually learned some of the signs in class the week before.
My friend and I are both hearing and she is black.

Unbeknownst to me a lot of what was being presented happened to her.

She great job incorporating her god-mother as the voice interpreter into the show.

If you are in the L.A. area, get a chance go see it. I think it's only 3 more weeks.
