feel free to move to East Coast

it's much cheaper around here because NJ is one of the major oil transport routes and refineries here.

the further gas supply gets delivered to a location, the more expensive it is. for your area, it's a damn shame West Coast is suffering from high gas cost because of Hurricane Katrina and Deepwater Horizon oil rig fire. or there might be other reason for high gas cost in California.... maybe it's part of its aggressive pollution control policy. either way... I'm glad I'm never ever gonna live in California.

$ 3.99 for regular unleaded, $ 3.60 at the state line

there you go, folks. no $5 here or there anytime soon so looks like we'll have a good summer traveling season! :cool2:

In South Wales it's about GBP £1.35 per LITRE for unleaded (that's USD $2.19), or $7 a gallon. Count your blessings.

EDIT: In real world terms, that's almost $105 to fill up my car (Celica, so nothing huge) or $24 for my bike.

Gas prices around here are steadily dropping. I got gas a few days ago... cost me $3.39 per gallon. Right now, it's around $3.34 per gallon.

I usually get gas at Kroger, Tom Thumb, or Walmart... because of their 3-cent discount. ;)

I see we haven't posted this for a while... just got gas earlier yesterday @ $3.95. What's yours? :)

Ours is in the low $4. I paid $4.07 yesterday. Looks to be sneeking back up:-(
