That is correct. Apparently the sprouts don't need sunlight for the first 2-3 days. But the plant did what it was designed to do, find a warm moist place and sprout. I just wonder if he knew he had inhaled the pea or not.

Simple... cook seed so good, then it won't grow. And.... don't laugh while eating. Then you shall be okay!

I remembered that when I was little. I accidentally swallowed watermelon seed. I asked my mom if it will grow inside me? She said yeah it can. I was soooo panoid until she was just joking. Grrr
