I thought that I would change my garage into a gym. I have been working out since I was 16. I can't give up on training. The current schedules and jobs are so tight which doesn't give me enough time to travel to the gym. So, having a gym at home would help.

I need some suggestions for that. I hope someone here could help me. I need to set the concrete floors for handling heavy drops. So, I am planning to first use the epoxy Concrete Overlayments on the floor and use the synthetic mats spread over the floor. It is not a very large area, so It wouldn't cost much.

What do you think about it? Please give your suggestions.

Epoxy overlayments are expensive and will still chip/crack if you drop something hard and heavy on them. What about just laying down some Tongue and groove OSB?

Old wrestling mats are often for sale cheaply. Sometimes free. :afro:
FYI. Nothing fails like a home gym.
