Oreo Truffles
Ingredients:
1 package of Oreo Cookies, crushed
2 packages of cream cheese, softened
About 2 lbs of chocolate coating. I used Ambrosia dark chocolate
Crush the cookies in a zip lock style bag with a rolling pin and have fun!
In a large bowl, mix the cookie crumbles and the cream cheese well. Chill for at least an hour. Using a small cookie dough scoop or your hands, Shape into about 48 balls and place in the refrigerator while you are melting the chocolate. Melt the chocolate according to directions usually on the package. I used the microwave techinique. Dip and cover the balls with chocolate and place on wax paper/foil/parchment and refrigerate!
