Help! OK this is for a class but not for a graded or school class, for an ASL class I'm taking at a local church for fun.

What in the heck should the order of these signs be in this sentence??

"One day the fire alarm rang, but I didn't hear it."

This is hard!! Thanks!! I'm just trying to learn in general how to arrange sentences.

i would sign it

'fire alarm, not hear me"

also depending on the time structure. if it happend last year i would sign "long time ago" first...
im still learning so i think this is right..

Yeah, I think that's right, but I've also seen

ALARM FIRE ME NOT HEAR

and

FIRE ALARM ME NOT HEAR

The order of signs in ASL (at least according to my fiancee) isn't as important as the word order in, say, English, so multiple orders could be correct.

An interesting thread to read is this: http://alldeaf.com/showthread.php?t=8453
It is a story in English but written in an ASL word order.
