Opinions?

Doing a project in one of my classes...I need to know what other Deaf individuals opinions are of the fact that more and more hearing people are teaching sign language courses? Do you think that it is affecting the culture in anyway and what do you think the affects will be in the long run?

I'm curious -- where is this information coming from? Have there been surveys done of sign language teachers across the country?
