Operation removes lightbulb from man's rear

Here's something else that I found along the same vein, but this idiot did it to himself. How he got in the Army, I'll never understand. Sign him up for Letterman. :eek3:

Brit burns bum with firecracker
Thu Nov 9, 9:37 PM ET

A 22-year-old man suffered internal injuries after lighting a small firecracker he had inserted into his buttocks, paramedics said Thursday. The incident took place Sunday, when Britain celebrated Bonfire Night, traditionally marked with fireworks to celebrate the Guy Fawkes' gunpowder plot to blow up Parliament in the 17th century.

The man suffered burns and other unspecified internal injuries in the incident in Sunderland, 275 miles north of London.

Katherine Shenton, a spokeswoman for the North East Ambulance Service, said a caller had phoned in that the victim was bleeding after the firecracker exploded.

Several of the man's friends recorded the incident on a mobile phone. The blurry images show a man bent over with his pants down and a white flash as the firecracker explodes.

The Times newspaper reported the man is a soldier who recently returned from Iraq.

Oh man...this man needs to join with the guy in the banana suit who tried to light it up with fire but ended up burning himself up.

There lots of not so bright people who do stupid stuff all the time. I would not want to blow up my asshole with small firecracker becuz I don't want to get a pee bag for the rest of my life...

Wow, I'm surprised that the bulb didn't break in his rectum...

I recall a website that features true stories and xray pictures of various people with various objects stuck up their rectum...I saw the website a long time ago.

I bet that you are into that sort of thing, huh?:whip:

I read about that in a book long time ago. That is how gay men do that to others in the bars. Once a doctor found a flashlight shining back at him. The object can be anything - like a shot glass.

My mom is an ICU nurse and she once had a patient who had stuck a light bulb up his ass. You have to be really careful removing it or the glass will break. :squint:

Groan and Bare it

I would not think that anyone would want to be that ENLIGHTENED!
It is not a very BRIGHT idea.
Though finding the reason for it could be ILLUMINATING.
WATT were they thinking?
Perhaps it caused them to feel a small GLOW of excitment.
Certainly the feelings in the operating room were ELECTRIC.
But a caregiver could get nervous and just feel too AMPT out.
CURRENT tendencies are definately towards self abuse.:eek3:
