Online Poker

WOW!! Reading comprehension FAIL here.. It doesn't say it's illegal to play online poker for money. Only to run an online gambling business - there's a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE difference there. The risk is on the owners' part to open service to USA residents.

Are you really that unable to comprehend what you read and apply it?

thank you for proving nothing. Nothing I said pointed towards online poker is illegal. The reason online poker sites are outside of usa is to avoid usa's taxes and take advantage of gambling friendly tax havens in other countries.

um.... the reason why online poker sites are not in USA is because it's ILLEGAL.... hence we've been telling you that online poker is illegal in USA.

We've never said PLAYING online poker is illegal.

and I've been harping about playing online poker.... hmm? you guys the one who going off the point.

They aren't.

Exactly what I just said..

The best were known for their massive cash games winnings. All of them won huge in cash games before becoming famous in the tournament circuit.

A few from online poker has won the big show. Moneymaker has never repeated and he still is working at his law firm...

But Moneymaker did great things for the poker community by winning.

right.... we don't bother playing it because it's illegal in USA. why would we want to play on some European sites? and risk investigation from federal agents?

so what to do? we go to casinos. or have a little underground poker game with high bind.

Quite a few underground games here run for $400-800 blinds...

I was invited to these and I checked it out.... That was the extent of my activity. :aw:

I think someone has been watching too much WPT on the cable channels and getting confused because he sees younger people winning bigger pots.:laugh2:

and living it vicariously... ah such innocent youth...

This will be my last post for the night....

Warped. I am more than willing to fly out to MD and play you heads up for pocket change - let's say 1 or 2 times the average MD paycheck, $2500.

Phil Ivey? Ferguson? Hellmuth? hell, even Brunson?

:cool2:

Tom Dwan? Chris Lee? Issac Baron? Di Dang? Dan Cates? I could go on and on.

I'll say Phil Ivey is the only one that stay at top over anyone and he plays online as well. The ones I named play with Ivey regularly.

Ahhh...the over confidence and mistaken conclusions of the ill informed and unexperienced. Touching.
