I'm sure some of you may have picked me out of the crowd as not being deaf. I AM however learning ASL. My wife is an ASL teacher. (provocative isn't it?)

Anyhow, I have the attention span of an roughly an ANT so we are doing 30min each day.

my wife's mother is deaf and she signs so fast I can't even see straight. I will be really good though. I've got the alphabet down solid and 1-15. also, I learn a lot of new words every day. I've got a GREAT idea. how about in a few weeks, I'll make a video of myself signing and you all can grade me? sound good? I'll post it up here on this thread.

no?

Good for you, moveright! Keep up the work! And, I think its a great idea to post your video.

--btw, looks like a good plan and obviously, you're getting the hang of it and continuing to strive to learn, do well...good luck with that. It's up to you if you would like to do a video...but it may not be necessary to 'grade' you, rather, simply encourage you as you proceed onward with learning it. ;)

Sure post the video, I'll love to see some signs that you've learned. ;)
