Oh Wondrous Night, I stand looking into the sky
Enchanting things, meet my eye
Oh darkness of night, how you invite me
To look real close, that I may see

How night quietly, slips into the abyss
Stars bursting brightly, a state of bliss
The clouds, pure pink from the descending sun
The Northern Lights, dance on the horizon

The trees, tall dark shadows, reaching as they fight
To sway in jubilation, beckoning the moon to shine bright
Dripping, with fresh fallen snow, white satin on the forest floor
Filled with foot prints, of inhabitants adored

Enthralling, this sight, Oh Wondrous Night
You have filled my mind, with new insight
Oh Heaven, art thou as beautiful, this night
That I can clearly dream of the oncoming light
