not surprising. this is very common in poverty-stricken country. give'em a vodka and hope for best :(
 
Horrific!...There would be a lot of pain at the beginning...then the body goes into shock...but then your body will realize how much pain its in and your nerves will go into shock......

yes. it makes their job easier to hack it away.
 
Yeah...like a "butcher"....jeeez!....horrible to even think about it!....Friend of ours is a butcher at a grocery store (Winn-Dixie), makes fair $$....I don't think I would have the stomach for that....

This was how it was done in the past here in the USA too during the Revolutionary War and Civil War.

It had to be done or they lose their life.

Wish it wasn't so in North Korea or anywhere in the world for that matter.
