heyy everyone im new here just checking everything out seeing what its all about i am hearing, my parents and girlfriend are deaf we currently live in columbus, ohio but have been throwing the idea of moving to florida around for a while now... only problem is we have no idea where the large deaf communities that we will want to mix with are located were a young couple 23, and 21 so it would be nice to know where the younger crowd might be at so far we've heard Tampa/ clearwater is where it's at .. can anybody confirm that or add to it .. if so that would be awsome

thanks

Hello and welcome to Alldeaf! Ahh..tired of the 'cold weather elements' here? Anyhow, good luck with finding the kind of location you desire for. In the meantime, hope you'll enjoy your stay here in AD! ;)

Florida Deafs

Depends on what part of Florida you are willing to move to. St Augusting is where Florida School for the Deaf is and alot of Deafs attend to St Pete Jr. College in the Tampa, St Pete area. Miami and Orlando also has a large group of young deafs. The bigger the city the bigger the ratio of deafies in the area. alot of the deafs go to the larger cities for the Deaf Clubs.
