Hello,

I am a new member from VA. I am hearing and enjoy signing with two deaf friends. We use mostly PSE, but we really like ASL.

For a bit about myself, I am married with one eight year old daughter. In my spare time I enjoy fishing, hiking, reading, gardening and studying ASL.

I am seeking formal training in ASL. I live in a very rural town, and formal training is hard to come by. Our local CC college is offering an ASL 101 class this fall. I am excited to be taking this class.

Welcome!! I am hearing also. I have been teaching myself ASL since Feb. I have been to one or two Deaf events so far with a friend of mine, and our church is offering an ASL class soon. :O)
