Hey there, folks! My name is Jamie Klontz and I am a mother of two CI kiddos; Garik (age 3) and Melody (age 1). We are a military family (as of right now) and plan on leaving military life in 2015, so I thought your forum looked great for gaining lots of info on how to adapt to civilian life with CI babies! Kind of overwhelmed as to all the paperwork that will need done and very confused on many matters having to do with Social Security, Disability etc. Anyone in a similar situation, feel free to contact me! would love a buddy! Klontzmommy08, hpw is the implant working out for your children? My son is 11mo.ths old and profoundly deaf, weve been looking into the ci.
