Neckloop Vs Earhooks for Ipod

At the moment i use earhooks with my Ipod but im finding im breaking them usually after 3 months use (taking my helmet on and off keeps breaking them, so i thought about giving this neckloop a try. Has anyone used it or can comment on it? I am worried that it wont be loud enough or hear more magnetic feedback as the coil isnt on my ears.

I haven't used that one, but an older version in mono, the interference is quite bad. On the bus home I could hear the powerlines overhead and going through a train crossing was awful. It was the only problems though, no problems inside buildings etc. hth
