Here is another source on this story, The Washington Post:
the story of Eugene Mallory, an 80-year-old man shot and killed by Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies during a drug raid on his home last year. An anonymous informant told them they’d find a meth lab in Mallory’s home. There was no lab.
How can an informant do that if there were no evidence of a crime happening in his home? This is sickening that it could be one of us being killed by the police being mistaken if we did not have drugs or crime in our homes. An informant is not telling the truth about it all. He or she should be punished and go to prison for what he or she done to the police officer or police station about it. I feel sorry for the old man who was deaf and never know what hit him. No one should never excuted an old man who happened to be 80 years old. Dang the Los Angeles police department.
