Hello everyone,
My wife and I are working on raising money to purchase media access equipment (captioning) for movie theatres in Des Moines, Iowa. We've raised about $6000 so far, and we still need to raise around $9000 more to purchase the first system.

The media access equipment works for deaf and blind people. For deaf people it adds captioning to movies, and for blind people it adds descriptive audio narration.
Even if you cannot donate, feel free to visit our site often to check how much money we've raised. When we reach our goal, we'll purchase the equipment and publish our results on the web. We also have a blog that we chat on every few days.
